(SRN NEWS)-A new poll from the Public Religion Research Institute finds that in states where religious practice is robust, support for abortion is LOW — and vice versa. In places where people attend church, pray, tithe and read the Bible MORE, pro-life sentiment is stronger. As you might expect, religious practice and opposition to abortion are strongest in the South while irreligiousness and support for abortion are strongest in New England and the far West.
