VLORA, Albania (Reuters) – Eight people died when a car carrying them swerved off a road and fell into a river in southern Albania early on Tuesday, police said.
The driver was Albanian and the seven other people were from other countries, the statement said.
“Due to the loss of control, the Benz vehicle … swerved off the road and fell in the Vjosa River,” it added.
